In November 2025, we conducted site inspections of five camps and lodges in Botswana, primarily within the Okavango Delta. We have endorsed four of these properties. We decided to withdraw our endorsement of the fifth camp due to excessive vehicle traffic and unacceptable wildlife practices.

As our most premium safari destination, Botswana's pricing reflects the remoteness of the camps and the necessity of bush plane transfers to access this pristine wilderness.

Ngoma Lodge

Gomoti Plains

Monachira Camp

Okavango Delta, Botswana Situated in the Moremi Game Reserve, Monachira Camp is aptly named after the Monachira channel flowing alongside it. Elevated wooden decks provide sweeping views of the floodplains teeming with wildlife. Guests can enjoy thrilling game drives and nature walks, as well as, a variety of water-based activities to explore the myriad of islands surrounding the camp offering an immersive experience in the wetlands' beautiful and diverse landscapes. 

Kiri Camp

Okavango Delta, Kiri RiverKiri Camp offers a combination of both game drives and water activities (water & flood dependant). Based on a private concession, these activities will take you to some of the more remote areas in the delta, previously inaccessible. A motorboat ride during peak flood times promises to enthrall you and captivate you, with the chance of seeing iconic wildlife from the river. Glide on quiet mokoro’s through the water lilies and view wildlife from below as you sail along at water level height. The wildlife in the Kiri area is diverse and plentiful, renown for its lion and buffalo interactions and rare wild dog numbers. As Kiri Camp is in a private concession, off road and night driving are allowed, as are armed nature walks through the surrounding islands with knowledgeable guides.
